FAQ

Common fixes for setup, casting, mirroring, and subscription issues.

My TV does not appear in device search.

Make sure your iPhone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Enable Local Network permission for SmartCast Pro in iOS Settings, then restart the app and try again.

The remote is not connecting.

Select your device again from the app, confirm that the TV is powered on, and complete the pairing code flow if your Android TV asks for a code.

Casting photos or videos is not working.

Allow Photos access when iOS asks for permission. Keep your iPhone and TV on the same Wi-Fi network while casting.

Screen mirroring does not start.

Confirm that the selected TV is connected, then tap the mirroring button and choose the SmartCast broadcast extension from the iOS broadcast picker.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Open iOS Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, then select SmartCast Pro.
